Dying girl who sparked debate gets lung transplant from adult donor
Wed Jun 12, 2013
For everyone bemoaning the fact this little girl basically "jumped over" others waiting for transplants please remember - the grave medical condition of the patient, i.e. one who is near death, is automatically bumped up on the transplant list over others who have a less urgent need for that particu …

Man accused of putting 6-week-old baby daughter in freezer
Tue May 28, 2013
I'll say it again - what is wrong with our society today? How in the world could a human being do this to a poor innocent child? Was he on drugs, drunk or just as stupid and callous as a bag of rocks? Could it be that the baby was crying because she had a broken leg and arm and a head injury? W …
Cancer patient missing, presumed dead after NY plane crash
Mon May 27, 2013
Despite this tragic crash, Angel Flight is a wonderful organization dedicated to helping out people with medical needs far away from home. A friend's young son had a brain cancer and our local Angel Flight transported him and his mom many times to a specialized medical facility.
'She was always happy': Families grieve tornado victims

Look at the face of the baby sister - she just adored her big sis. She will miss her deeply. My sympathy for the family.
Virgin birth or hanky-panky? Anteater mom sparks a scientific debate
Fri May 17, 2013
I think they had what we in the human world call a "quickie." When they were reintroduced for 5 minutes they were copulating at 3 minutes. So it doesn't take much to satisfy or impregnate a female anteater. It IS cute how the baby rides on mom. Nice way to travel.
Fla. man tricked pregnant girlfriend into taking abortion drug, feds say
Thu May 16, 2013
@Justoneguy - It was the woman's body that was violated by this little weasel. She was pregnant and wanted the baby. He took her decision to have a baby away from her. Abortion laws or no abortion laws, her body, her decision. Never the man's.
Dr. Joyce Brothers dead at 85
Mon May 13, 2013
I remember her many appearances on the Tonight Show with Johnny. He would tease her to try to get her to blush and she always stayed pretty cool. Another icon of days gone by gone. RIP Dr. Joyce Brothers, always a lady.
Abortion doctor Kermit Gosnell convicted of first-degree murder
Mon May 13, 2013
I happen to be pro choice BUT this "man" was so rightfully convicted of murdering viable babies.
Deadly giant snail found in Houston
Tue May 7, 2013
Last month there was a story about a BUNCH of giant snails in Florida and I think this is the same type from the looks of it. The ones in FL would eat the stucco off houses and their shells were so tough and sharp that they had punctured car tires.
